Eligibility Criteria
Completed Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) or equivalent dental degree recognized by the concerned authority and registered with the Nepal Medical Council (NMC) or relevant professional council.
OR
Completed an equivalent dental qualification recognized by the concerned authority and fulfilled the professional registration and other eligibility requirements prescribed by the Medical Education Commission (MEC), Government of Nepal.
Candidates must also fulfill the internship, professional registration and other eligibility requirements specified by MEC for the respective postgraduate dental program and admission year.

Entrance Test and Selection
Entrance Test for MDS will be conducted by the Medical Education Commission (MEC), Government of Nepal, through the Medical Education Common Entrance Examination for Postgraduate (MECEE-PG).
Selection will be based on the candidate's performance in the postgraduate entrance examination, eligibility requirements, merit/ranking and the MEC matching process, as per the prevailing rules and guidelines of the Medical Education Commission.
