Established in 1998 in Bhairahawa, Universal College of Medical Sciences (UCMS) is affiliated with Tribhuvan University and recognized by the Nepal Medical Council (NMC). For nearly three decades, UCMS has helped advance medical and dental education in Nepal while serving the healthcare needs of the community.

Education at UCMS is closely connected to clinical practice. Our 500-bed teaching hospital gives students opportunities to learn alongside experienced faculty and healthcare professionals from Nepal and abroad. With modern facilities and a commitment to compassionate care, we prepare students to apply their knowledge with skill, confidence, and responsibility.

Our purpose is twofold: to develop capable healthcare professionals through quality education and practical training, and to provide accessible, affordable healthcare to the people we serve.
