Eligibility criteria for MBBS Admission in Nepal at Universal Medical College

  • The college enrolls students based on merit performance, management quota and international quota.
  • Applicants must have passed school education in 10 + 2 pattern from any recognized education board or any equivalent qualification recognized by universities.
  • The major subject of study must be Biology, Physics and Chemistry
  • Minimum qualifying marks for applying is 50 % in aggregate.
  • The university conducts entrance exam for the applicants. The minimum eligibility score is 50 %.
  • Students who secured 50% and above in all subjects can apply for admission in the direct quota.
  • Students who missed the timeline for submission of application or fail to meet the eligibility with minimum marks can apply for admission under Management Quota.
  • Indian students must have qualify the NEET exam for MBBS admission in Nepal

For international students, inclusive of Indian students, they can seek admission under NRI Quota, Nepal.

If more applications are submitted on the basis of IOM and TU entrance exams than via NEET admission, applicants who completed the IOM and TU entrance exam will likely be given preference.

Required Documents:

  • The applicant’s passport, which must be valid for at least 18 months
  • Candidates 10th Certificates with Score Card
  • Candidates 12th Certificates with Score Card
  • The candidate’s birth certificate (High School/10th certificate)
  • Candidates photographs passport size
  • An official letter of acceptance from the medical college or universities of Nepal.
  • The Ministry of External Affairs of India ought to approve the application papers.
  • The Nepali embassy also legalizes all paperwork.
  • The applicant’s medical certificate and the documentation related to the HIV test must be submitted by candidates.
